Web EventMapper

EventMapper is a web-based tool that uses graphics to show how a range of services are performing - bringing customers and service providers together on an interactive common platform.
Organisations (e.g. public authorities, public utilities, homeowner associations, private entities, property managers) that provide a wide range of services to buildings, streets, estates or regions can quickly implement this approach to efficiently deliver a streamlined service to their customers and peers.
Using Web EventMapper, increased efficiency and lower costs can be achieved whilst, at the same time, delivering an improved level of service.
Web EventMapper can be applied to any project that requires "event" based data management. Simplifying administration and automating repetitive processes will lead to shortened solution times, reduced costs and improved efficiency.
Future events can be recorded thus providing a common platform for related service providers to share their plans, co-ordinate maintenance activities and reduce costs by eliminating repeated common activities.
Once an event is registered at the website, it is there for all to see until cleared - reducing the need for multiple reporting and unnecessary administrative effort. Customers have direct access 24 hours a day. Any activity on that event is stored throughout the event's life and the supporting database provides a valuable basis for performance reporting. Website access is controlled by privileges assigned for users, administrators and managers making it a customised solution for the owner.
Consider for example, local authorities managing public services. The authority would employ this tool to enable real-time interactive communication between residents, customers, service providers and local authority management. Residents can report any event, such as burnt-out street lamps, uneven pavements, abandoned or illegally parked cars and many other 'events' using an internet site that is open all day. When an 'event' is registered, an email, containing the location on a map and a detailed description of the event is automatically sent to the assigned "Event Manager" or administrator who can then take the appropriate action. There is no unnecessary handling and no paper flow. Customers are linked directly to service providers and the process stages are recorded for performance measurement.
